Ra Ra Riot has shared their brand new single “Bad To Worse.” The song was produced by and co-written with Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire Weekend, Maggie Rogers, Frank Ocean, Haim), mixed by Manny Marroquin (Sia, Kanye West), and mastered by Grammy Award-winner Emily Lazar (Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Beck).

In addition, it was recently announced that Ra Ra Riot is set to join Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, MGMT, Beach House and many more for the inaugural Just Like Heaven Festival on May 3rd and 4th in Long Beach, CA.

“It’s about watching the world from the window of the car or bus, and how there’s a familiarity to everything but it’s never the same as it once was.” A simply adorned song, it offsets those wistful lyrics with bright beats and warm textures sculpted with the help of Batmanglij’s vast collection vintage synths.

“Bad To Worse” follows the late 2018 release of “This Time of Year,” the band’s first new song since 2016. Both songs are set to appear on a forthcoming, yet-to-be-announced LP.
