“Constant Reminder” by Sub Pop recording artists Omni, is the thirty-first entry in the 2019-2020 Adult Swim Music program. The track is described as equally parts prickly and hooky, evincing a perfect manifestation of the band’s sonic hallmarks: sparse drums, locked-in bass, blistering guitar, and nonchalant, yet assured vocals. Composed of Philip Frobos on bass/vocals and Frankie Broyles on guitars/drums/keys, Omni nods to the sounds of the ’70s and ’80s. “We recorded it during the Multi-task sessions,” explain the band, referencing their 2017 album, “but it’s energy didn’t quite find a place in the album sequence. We love it’s odd arrangement and rambunctious nature, it felt like it always needed to be a single. We’re very pleased for it to finally come out with Adult Swim.”
