UK rockers, Anteros, have released a new video, for their single “Ordinary Girl,” the track is out now via Distiller Records.

Band member Laura Hayden on “Ordinary Girl”:

“It took a minute to find my voice. I struggled to understand that – after spending my entire time at school and growing up trying to so hard to fit in – I needed to erase the “ideal girl,” the “ideal woman” from my head. To do what makes me happy, instead of what others expect or project onto me. This is a message to my little sister.”

The single is off the band’s forthcoming debut album, When We Land, out March 1st on Distiller Records. Anteros are a band who refuse to be typecast. While standing firmly outside of any box, they’ve proven their ability to nail any genre or idea they put their mind to, having spent their formative years experimenting with dreamy indie pop, gritty electronic rock and shimmering disco.

Recorded at The Distillery with Mercury Prize-winning producer Charlie Andrew (Alt-J, Marika Hackman, Bloc Party), When We Land is Anteros’ first full-length release following a string of critically acclaimed EPs and singles, as well as a number of sold out headline shows and major support slots (Two Door Cinema Club, White Lies, Blaenavon.)
