Lo-fi singer and multi-instrumentalist, Swan Lingo recently released his debut EP, Spirit Plug, July 1st, via WEDIDIT.

“My inspiration for this project was based off of me coping with a heartbreak,” Swan Lingo said of Spirit Plug. “These songs embody my true emotions of that point in my life. I was also given the opportunity to create a sound that I’ve always wanted to capture, bringing emotion to life through my voice and through my music.”

Spirit Plug showcases the Washington, D.C.- based musician’s style of combining soft electronic elements and guitar riffs with melodic singing and lyrically expressive raps. Swan Lingo is a classically trained drummer who produced all of the beats on the EP, as well as played most of the instruments on the project.
