Atlanta-based Kolourz grew up listening the Smashing Pumpkins and Modest Mouse, and was always influenced by his older sister’s taste in music. However, it wasn’t until several years later, after a major shoulder injury in high-school hockey, that he picked up a guitar and began learning how to play. Kolourz studied jazz performance at Kennesaw State University’s School of Music. Kolourz also recently shared the stage with Nightmares on Wax.

In 2014, Kolourz released his first full-length album “Summer Solstice and the Ley Lines of Consciousness,” which was comprised of all original material he composed, performed and produced. Kolourz released his second album The Age of Stars in September 2015.
