L.A. Salami has shared his new track “Jean Is Gone” ahead of his forthcoming release The City Of Bootmakers. Salami, who to use his first name Lookman continues to weave his way through an extensive catalogue of songs, each with their own stories and wry, observational anecdotes. L.A Salami heads out on a run of North American dates in March and April 2018, starting March 19th in Seattle.

An upbeat, exuberant intro, Jean Is Gone leads the listener into a sharp,nuanced narrative accompanied by organ and percussion that highlights Salami’s soulful urban-folk. Already championed by the likes of 6 Music – previous track Generation L(ost) was b-listed and saw the Radcliffe & Maconie show invite Salami onto the show whilst live on air.
