“Halloween” By Slaughterhouse
Just in time for the scary season, Los Angeles punk band Slaughterhouse will release their new EP Halloween containing the tracks “Halloween” and “Halloween (Not a Fried Remix).” on October 28 via Suicide Squeeze Records. The band deliver their own take on the Michael Myers mythos by transmuting the film’s timeless legacy of fear with their own unique brand of high-powered vitality. Reminiscent of Carpenter’s iconic riff without recycling or sampling a single note, “Halloween” moves at a breakneck pace as chiming guitars flash like cold steel to set the scene for an absolute bloodbath of over-the-top sonic mayhem.
“This is a song Eddie has been itching to write for a very long time. Wanting to retell the story of an iconic horror film character through song, it only seemed fitting to create an experience that takes you on an adventure itself. We’re very excited to be able to have a Halloween anthem for everyone’s favorite holiday.”
