Coco Shares New Single “Omen”
Coco have shared their latest single “Omen.” The track arrives ahead of their tour with Kevin Morby, which kicks off later this month in Washington, DC.
Heavy hangs the sunshine
Yellow, thick, and unkind
Look away and stand over there
Still I see it anyway, an omen.
Today’s single follows previous release “Rough Water.” Following their support run for Kevin Morby, they’ll play select headline dates on the West Coast; details below. The band have also announced the first vinyl pressing of their debut album, available to pre-order on Bandcamp.
Coco is the project of Maia Friedman (The Dirty Projectors), Dan Molad (Lucius), and Oliver Hill (Pavo Pavo). Old friends with rich history, the trio convened with ambiguous artistic intention, easy chemistry, and open expectations. “From the beginning, we made a conscious effort to foreground our intuitions and trust each other’s first instincts.”
