Aesop Rock drops new video for “Kirby”
Aesop Rock just dropped a video for The Impossible Kid track (and cat owner anthem) “Kirby” to coincide with the start of the third and final leg of his US tour (dates below). The clip, which pairs a puppet version of Aesop with a live cat was directed by Toben Seymour, who directed the Aesop Rock and Rob Sonic (Hail Mary Mallon)’s hilarious “Whales” video.
The role of Kirby is played here by Dina, who was rescued from the streets of downtown Los Angeles, and has since been adopted and found a forever home. To help a cat in your area, please consider donating to (or adopting from) your local animal shelter, or visiting The Animal Humane Society: https://www.humanesociety.com/
