Calgary four-piece Viet Cong will be releasing their self-titled debut LP January 20th on Jagjaguwar (and Flemish Eye in Canada). The label is familiar territory and fitting for two of its members, who previously played in the now defunct and much loved art rock band Women.

The seven songs that make up Viet Cong are a continuation from Cassette, the EP the band released earlier this year. Viet Cong will be embarking on a tour in support of the album, including a handful of North American dates and two weeks in the UK and Europe — in addition to their upcoming European visit this fall.
