Teleman Premiere "Mainline" Video, begin North American tour,

Teleman premiered their video for “Mainline,” off debut LP Breakfast, today. The video arrives ahead of the London-based band’s first stateside shows in support of the album, which was released on June 5, 2014 via Moshi Moshi Records.

Teleman’s run of US dates begins tomorrow at the Mercury Lounge in New York, NY. Following a Brooklyn show at Glasslands on Friday, September 26^th, the band will travel to Los Angeles for two additional shows: on September 29^th at Bardot for School Night and on September 30^th at the Bootleg Bar. A current itinerary is below.

The band came together almost by osmosis. Sanders, his keyboardist brother Jonny, and bassist Pete Cattermoul found themselves adrift in London when the two guitarists left their previous band Pete & The Pirates in 2012, but weren’t ready to stop playing music together. As a three-piece working with a drum machine, they found far more space and freedom in the music they could make. But it wasn’t long before performing with a drum machine began to feel limiting, however, and drummer Hiro Amamiya joined in late 2012.
