Norway’s Death By Unga Bunga are still considered to be fairly young men, they’re actually celebrating their ten year anniversary as a band in 2018. To celebrate, the band are releasing their fifth album, So Far So Good So Cool.
The album will be released on April 6th. In a break with their previous efforts, this time around the band produced the record themselves, giving it a more personal touch. Fans of the band and new converts will find the guitar riffs catchier, the solos wilder, and the songs faster, louder and funnier than ever. Death By Unga Bunga epitomize everything that’s fun and great about rock ‘n’ roll, and this new album will surely help them further along their “life-long quest to show people how NOT to suck.”
The past couple of years for Death By Unga Bunga have been busy, starting with the 2016 release Pineapple Pizza. Never ones to stay still, they quickly followed the album with a remastered edition of their debut LP Juvenile Jungle, and a brand new four song EP Fight to round out the year. In 2017 the band toured Scandinavia, the UK, Germany and Benelux, along with two trips to North America, including a fall tour with punk legends Stiff Little Fingers, on their 40th Anniversary Tour.
