The Shivas stream new single “Ride On”
Portland band The Shivas will release their fourth LP, You Know What To Do, on October 28th via K and on cassette via Burger Records. Recorded at K’s Dub Narcotic Studio and mixed by Calvin Johnson, it features the band’s mix of surf-pop, garage-rock, and early ’60s-style rock ‘n’ roll. You can now stream album track “Ride On”– a jangly, reverb-soaked jam– which they premiered this week, and you can listen to now.
The Shivas have shared stages with bands like Spiritualized, The Dandy Warhols, The Fresh & Onlys and La Luz, and just kicked off a North American tour that runs through the end of October. See below for a full list of live dates.
