Portrayal of Guilt have shared “Sadist,”band’s latest single features vocals from Jenna Rose of New York darkwave outfit Anatomy. Their forthcoming album CHRISTF***** drops on, November 5, via Run For Cover, the LP follows the band’s 2021 release We Are Always Alone.

“We think of it partially in the sense of scoring a horror movie,” guitarist/vocalist Matt King says. “We wanted to create an atmosphere of anxiety and fear.” Created by King, drummer James Beveridge, and bassist, Alex Stanfield. By way of hypnotic guitar patterns, industrial rhythms and oppressive heaviness — each track tells a story set in the darkest of settings for the listener to interpret and explore.

The LP was produced by NYC producer Ben Greenberg (Uniform, Pharmakon, Bing & Ruth) and also features guest vocals from Touché Amoré vocalist Jeremy Bolm (on “Fall From Grace”).
