Berlin-based artist Adiam ingeniously mixes rugged post-punk and hip hop, electronic radiance, intelligent pop songwriting, and distinctively soulful R&B vocals to a unique musical amalgam of equally subversive and seductive authority. Adiam’s charismatic gritty-cool voice, her memorable harmonies, combined with her often deeply personal, dark lyrics are showcased on recent release EP 2 Quiet Desperation out on Universal Germany in February.

Eritrean-Swedish electronic/r&b/post-punk artist Adiam is about to release her first full-length album Black Wedding (with tracks produced by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek) on Universal Germany August 26th!

Earlier this year she released track “Quiet Desperation” (as part of an EP) and in May she released the single and video “Dead Girl Walking.” Both tracks are on forthcoming album, which at times sounds reminiscent of Kelela or Abra’s latest release.
