Toronto garage/psych rockers Hot Garbage, are back with “Mystery”. The single is the second one off from their forthcoming album, Precious Dreams, available January 19, 2023 via Mothland Exag Records.

“Mystery,” is described as a sonic tapestry woven with intrigue and curiosity, invites listeners into the enigmatic world of Judy and Billy. Against a backdrop of fuzzed-out riffs and twisted surf twang, Hot Garbage paints a vivid musical fresco, delving deep into the realms of chromaesthesia, voluntary amnesia, and blissful confusion.

Hot Garbage have toured extensively throughout Canada, the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom, festivals including Levitation, Freakout Fest, Treefort, SXSW, Sled Island, FME, M for Montreal and Pop Montreal, and sharing the stage with notable acts such as Osees, Ty Segall, L.A. Witch, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, JJUUJJUU, Mdou Moctar, Wand, and Kikagaku Moyo. The quartet now returns with Precious Dream (January 19, 2024 via Mothland and Exag’ Records), a sprawling collection of songs written in isolation and brought together alongside visionary producer Graham Walsh (METZ, Preoccupations, Holy Fuck, !!!).
