Mad Liberation 2019 Shares Details
Mad Liberation 2019 is an intimate, independent, three day/ two night, camping, music & arts festival deep in the vast pine barrens of South Jersey. The festival is an incessant barrage of sonic experience. While awaiting the second wave of the lineup announcement, communities in Jersey, NYC, Philly, Baltimore and other surrounding areas are getting hyped for this three day rave in the woods.
Set in the vast pine barrens, Mad Liberation is a sanctuary and a celebration of artists from all over the globe. The festival features a forward thinking lineup, with a pledge to donate a portion of the proceeds to Al Otro Lado: a legal defense organization aiding migrants, refugees, and deportees at the border in Tijuana seeking asylum.
From their website : “Mad Liberation aims to bridge the gap between the collected communities of outsiders and fringe artists from all walks of life and all styles of expression. We pride ourselves in creating an inclusive meeting place and platform that celebrates the richness of what makes these scenes beautiful and diverse, while encouraging all involved to learn from each other’s differences and similarities, and to build their individual visions in a shared space designed to inspire the spirit and the mind.”
The majority of festivals in 2019 are massive corporate events that take place in an open grass field, that don’t have much new to offer. Mad Liberation is a smaller scale festival, that is quickly growing into a very unique platform. Most of the attendees will arrive by shuttle busses from various cities and will experience a full weekend of camping, music, art, and community.
The first lineup announcement has been made and features Wiki, Eartheater, Screaming Females, Ohbliv, Swarvy, Moma Ready, Sadaf, Machine Girl, Buttress, Pink Siifu, Ewonee, & many more.
Roundtrip transportation via shuttle available from Friday to Sunday with pickup and dropoff points at the venue Secret Project Robot in Bushwick, Brooklyn & Grand Central Station in Manhattan.
Although food vendors are available on-site with meat & vegan options, guests are encouraged to bring their own food. BYOB (No glass). Event is Rain or Shine. Guests should come prepared for fast-changing weather.
This is an opportunity to really tune in and drop out from the noise of your everyday life, and to come experience the noise your ears actually enjoy with a beautiful community of people. Liberation of the mind is the goal, raving in the middle of the woods is the journey.
