Lala Lala has shared their new single, “Armida.” The track was co-produced by Melina Duterte of Jay Som. The track follows the stand-alone release of “HIT ME WHERE IT HURTS.”

Lala Lala’s Lillie West offers this on the new single: “Armida is a true heartbreak song written after I had to get sober again last year. I asked Melina Duterte to produce. I was listening to a lot of Oneohtrix Point Never, and we used him as a sonic reference.”

Lala Lala is the project of Taos, NM-based artist Lillie West. After a stint playing guitar in Surf Curse, West released her debut Lala Lala album Sleepyhead in 2016 and later released her debut with Hardly Art, The Lamb, to praise in 2018. Following a string of collaborative releases with WHY?, Baths and Grapetooth, and touring the world several times over, Lala Lala most recently released her highly regarded 2021 album I Want The Door To Open, which featured contributions from Kara Jackson, Ben Gibbard, Finom and more.
