The Secret Beach is the project of Canadian multi-artist Micah Erenberg. Micah has written, produced and engineered for artists such as Kacy & Clayton, Lee Ranaldo & Zoon, Boy Golden, The Waverley Pickers, Fontine and Marlon Williams. He has worked with producer/engineers such as Rob Schnapf (Elliott Smith, Dr. Dog), Rob Fraboni (Bob Dylan, The Band, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys) and Sam Plecker (Father John Misty, Local Natives).

On their forthcoming records, We were born here, what’s your excuse?, The Secret Beach pays a subtle tribute to Manitoba, reaching beyond the usual “cold and landlocked” portrayals with vivid character studies and highly relatable expressions of uncertainty, growth, and the shifting world around them. inspired by Dylan & The Band, Grandaddy, M. Ward, Elliott Smith), with a preference for vintage analog recording equipment, and spiritual guidance from legendary Planet Waves producer Rob Fraboni.

Today, the The Secret Beach, shares a brand new single and video from We were born here, what’s your excuse?, “If You Don’t Love Me Let Me Go” is an alternative version of the previously released “IYDLMLMG”.
