Fraternal Twin will soon release the follow up to last year’s Skin Gets Hot – the new album Homeworlding is dropping October 14th on Ghost Ramp. Today, he premieres the latest track from the forthcoming release, “Big Dipper.”

Tom Christie, Fraternal Twin’s creative force tells us the song was “written when I was living in New Brunswick, New Jersey last year. The song wound up being a bit of a pseudo-treatise on the failings of communication and words–so much of our experience can be so subjective it can feel totally impossible sometimes to convey the truth as you see it. I often doubt my ability to be articulate.. It can feel very defeating and silly–how we are forced to act within personal lexicon, within language–but at the end of the day are at the mercy of the outside, of those who perceive us. You can never be the perfect ‘You’ you see in yourself so you have to roll with the punches.”

Homeworlding is out October 14th on Ghost Ramp.
