Deb Never releases THANK YOU FOR ATTENDING EP
Deb Never has released her new EP, THANK YOU FOR ATTENDING, today on Moonlanding. Earlier this year, she hinted at a new project with the release of the single “Momentary Sweetheart.” She will be performing the new material at headlining shows in NYC, LA, and the UK. This will be her last EP before she releases her debut album.
“THANK YOU FOR ATTENDING is a collection of songs inspired by anecdotal moments in my life, where I’ve felt the high of life, the comforting moments of love, and the pain of its aftermath,” Deb shares. “It’s my dear and final EP that I’m excited to perform and showcase to fans all over the world and give them the experience of Deb Never.”
Born to Korean parents in the Pacific Northwest, Deb Never first earned her stripes in local grunge bands, before relocating to Los Angeles. Early releases like the House on Wheels EP soon saw Never opening for the likes of Tommy Genesis and Dominic Fike. Later she collaborates with artists like Kenny Beats and Brockhampton as well as opening for acts like Omar Apollo and slowthai. When lockdowns struck in 2020, Never worked on two projects: Intermission, made in support of frontline healthcare workers, and Where Have All The Flowers Gone? (2021), featuring tracks made with Michael Percy (Snoh Alegra, Joy Crookes) and Jam City (Olivia Rodrigo, Kelela, Troye Sivan). The latter, with its accompanying short film, displays Never’s talent for visuals, which spills over into the fashion worlds with campaigns for Calvin Klein, Ganni, Burberry, and Givenchy.
