Briston Maroney recently announced his new EP Carnival will come out on November 16th. Ahead of the release, the Nashville singer/songwriter is sharing his new single “Hard To Tell.” The track features Maroney’s unique vocal stylings. His next projects, two EPs titled Carnival (released independently with two songs out via Canvasback Music/Atlantic Records) and Normal Heights, continue to expound on his storied past and hybrid of sounds. Recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles, Briston’s relationship with producer Tone Def, which truly showcases his innate empathy and imagery as a songwriter and storyteller. Along with the single, Carnival is now available to stream on Northern Transmissions.

“I love this one. It was amazing to get this one done with Tone Def because of what we’d done with the other songs prior. It’s direct and propulsive and immediate which feels like a great start to the project. It’s also my dad’s favorite of the bunch, so that helps, too.”
