Born Ruffians have released “Athena” the latest single to be taken from their forthcoming new album, Beauty’s Pride, available June 6th via Wavy Haze Records. The band also announced US and Canadian dates to celebrate the album release, with dates in San Francisco, Austin, Chicago and many more.

Described by Luke Lalonde as a track that “dips into capitalist dystopia for a moment, but in a fun, danceable way,” “Athena” harkens back to that early ‘80s moment when anti-social post-punk bands started writing socially conscious pop songs with exotic and excitable keyboard melodies. The single also cements how the band have made good on a five-year promise, following the release of their trilogy to JUICE, SQUEEZE, and PULP, to rip it up and start again.
