Lorde has announced her new album, Virgin, set for release on June 27 via Republic Records. The LP is the New Zealand artist’s first full-length album since her 2021 effort Solar Power. The announcement follows the release of her new single “What Was That”, co-produced by Lorde, Jim-E Stack (Bon Iver) and Dan Nigro. The video for “What Was That”, shot on location in New York — including a surprise performance in Washington Square Park.
