Win Win announce new album ‘Double Vision’ October 16th on Vice Records
WIN WIN, the Brooklyn-based post-electronic trio of Alex Epton (aka XXXchange, founding member of Spank Rock who produced the genre redefining album yoyoyoyo), Chris Devlin (of Baltimore Bass Connection and Devlin and Darko), and Ryan Sciaino (aka DJ Ghostdad), have announced their sophomore long player Double Vision will be issued by VICE Records on October 16, 2012. In what might seem like a departure from their roots in bass-driven electronic music, the new ten song set betrays the bands’ rapidly expanding palette of influences, including, but not limited to, Krautrock, 60’s and 70’s psych, tropicalia, and classic pop. The album coalesces in a highly detailed latticework of giant melodies, sweeping bridges, and the kind of warm, pulsing beats.
