“Way Out” By Greer
Greer will release their brand new album Happy People on November 5th, via Epitaph Records. The band’s sound is influenced by the 70s sounds of Elvis Costello and Big Star. Ahead of the release, the Orange County band have shared “Way Out.” Frontman Josiah shares, “‘Way Out’ describes a desire for independence from the burden of responsibility, and the feeling of contradiction and guilt that comes with it. As Mr. Strummer once said, ‘should I stay or should I gooo’.”
Produced by John Congelton (Wallows, St. Vincent, Angel Olsen), Greer had a triumphant run of shows opening for The Flaming Lips earlier this year and are in the midst of a west coast fall tour.
