Johnathan Bates aka Big Black Delta has announced his new album ADONAI on February 28, 2025. Along with the news, the artist has shared “Uncertainty Is Delight”. On the track, Bates states, What if? What if Earth is actually a school, of sorts, for the enrichment of one’s own Soul? A Soul knowing it is eternal, comes to Earth to learn limitations. It has to somehow harmonize the duality in front of masculine and feminine.

In his 5th self-produced album ADONAI, Bates says he channeled most of it. “I cant explain in words what that means, but its intention is that of service. I included higher beings, so to say. Its the most ancient greeting I could find.”

Part of this experience includes a veil.

This veil makes you forget your eternal being in a state outside of space-time while on Earth.

It is cruel, but would be necessary for the illusion to work. This is why we can never know the future. So who do you want to be in this uncertainty?

Somewhere in all of this, I believe we were intended to enjoy this uncertain experience much like we enjoy rollercoaster rides.

When asked what is different about this LP, his response was “does it matter if it brings someone joy?” Jonathan is hoping whoever listens to this new collection of songs will find use for them in their life. “We’re going to be OK”
