Pychedelic cosmic explorers – SOLAR EYES – are back with “Top of the World”, the mesmerising first single to be taken from their self-titled debut album. Strap yourselves in and prepare to be transported to ethereal realms far away as the Birmingham-based cosmic cohort unveil a celestial wall of sound inspired by the legendary songs of Jesus and Mary Chain and The Ronettes.

Alongside the track’s release Solar Eyes will also be playing a special launch show, and their biggest hometown show to-date, at Birmingham’s The Printmakers.

Solar Eyes is the brainchild of talented core duo Glenn Smyth and Sebastian Maynard Francis. WIth a blend of cosmic melodies and immersive sonic landscapes, the pair have already hung, drawn and quartered comparisons to Primal Scream, Chemical Brothers, ELO and the twanging ambiguities of Messrs Morricone and Pizzorno.
