TNGHT Return With New Video For “Brick Figures”

Hudson Mohawke and Lunice, have returned with their project TNGHT, along with a new single and accompanying video “Brick Figures” as part of the annual LUCKYME® Advent Calendar: the series founded in 2009 to release loosies and edits from the label founded in Glasgow.

“Brick Figures” is TNGHT doing what they do best: stark, muscular unorthodox beats exploding in on themselves. Idiosyncratic and deceptively simple, TNGHT continue to strip beats down to their bare constituent parts, and re-engineer the parts: bigger, better. These are beats in a body kit. Their tour was canceled following the release of their November 2019 comeback “II.” Last month’s single “TUMS” helped “break the curse” for a last minute pop up show in Downtown LA, selling out within hours. It was a riot.

“This is the kind of music Lego characters would be listening to on their own time.”
