After the announcement of his new album What’s For Breakfast, dropping on March 29th via Carpark Records. Today, May is back with another single from the LP, entitled “Time Flies When We’re Having Fun,” featuring Pearl & The Oysters.

May says of the song:

“Juliette and Joachim from Pearl & The Oysters are two of my best friends in Los Angeles, and we’ve casually collaborated on a few of their tunes over the years. I felt it was long overdue to have an official track together, and we wrote and recorded most of it from scratch in a single day at my studio Honeymoon Suite, finishing it up in a second session months later. The song originated from something Juliette wrote, which became the first verse. While we were working on an instrumental idea for the chorus, I started singing the chorus from a completely different song called “Time Flies When You’re Having Fun,” which I had partially demoed a while back. It was a beautiful serendipity that our two ideas lined up perfectly.”
