Vancouver shoegaze band bloom effect includes Vocalist/bassist Jula Lafit, UK-born guitarist Craig Weighman, and drummer Tom Rappa. The trio will release their forthcoming album oscilón on September 19th via beloved Vancouver label Kingfisher Bluez (Gum Country, Bridal Party, Cam Blake). bloom effect have performed at JUNOFest, Westward Music Festival, Desert Daze North, and opened for Zoon and Ladytron. oscilón will be available digitally and on vinyl.

Their debut live session, Once More with Feeling, recorded at Little Red Sound Studios,. In early 2025, they released portents—a 4-song EP via Shore Dive Records—described as a portal into their layered, emotionally charged sound.
