Squid releases a new video for “Cro-Magnon Man,” the track is of their new album, Cowards, available via Warp Records and features vocals from guitarist Louis Borlase alongside Clarissa Connelly, Tony Njoku and Rosa Brook.

The video was created by BAFTA winning writer and director Rory Alexander Stewart (known for his short films Liar, Good Girl, In the Grass and Wild Horses) alongside production company CANADA (who have produced music videos for artists such as Rosalía, Battles, Beck and Tame Impala). Featuring frenetic, quick cuts of rollerblader Neil Nelly Ingall and a puppet made of bones, Ingall carves through a dimly lit cityscape on a surreal journey combining physicality, distortion, and emotional texture.
