Big Black Delta shares the new single “Splash.” The track arrives in advance of the Los Angeles artist Jonathan Bates forthcoming album ADONAI, available February 28th, 2025. “Splash” On the track, Bates states, “To seek revenge upon a brute is blasphemous. It’s now time for you to flow with the go and find your center.”

On his 5th self-produced album ADONAI, Bates says he channeled most of it. “I cant explain in words what that means, but its intention is that of service. I included higher beings, so to say. Its the most ancient greeting I could find.”

In typical fashion, the record swings in styles. Yet, it is his most precise work of date. “The lyrics aren’t supposed to change the world, as its doing that on its own just fine. Im just speaking to you as if I was in the room.”

When asked what is different about this LP, his response was refreshing: “does it matter if it brings someone joy?” Jonathan is hoping whoever listens to this new collection of songs will find use for them in their life. “We’re going to be OK”
