“So Far From” Home by Harrison
Toronto producer, Harrison has launched his official video for “So Far From Home”, his collaboration with Young Guv (Ben Cook of Fucked Up, No Warning). Shot in Prince Edward County, Ontario, the video depicts Harrison and his pal on a wild road trip.
“After many rescheduled attempts due to bad weather, Tristan, Ben, Aurora, Jackie and I took a road trip from Toronto to Prince Edward County to shoot the video,” Harrison says of the production. “Along the way, we encountered a cemetery with side by side headstones matching mine and Ben’s names, an abandoned prisoner of war camp, super chill wild chickens, and the Sandbanks of PEC. It was all pretty tight, and probably the most relaxing video shoot I’ve done so far.”
Harrison’s first visual piece for the album was for the song, Vertigo. The track is a breezy, early 2000s dance inspired cut, which features vocals by Toronto up-and-comer, a l l i e. Directed by the city’s own, Sammy Rawal, and shot in Jamaica, it depicts a visceral journey of the artist’s hallucinogenic experience eating strange fruit on the island.
Harrison previously shared two offerings from the album with a couple of stellar collaborations. He first partnered with Clairmont The Second on It’s Okay I Promise, followed by the Ryan Hemsworth feature, Vanilla, which also arrived as a single on Ryan Hemsworth’s Secret Songs label. The third, So Far From Home, arrived as a funky collaboration with Young Guv.
