Sigur Rós have announced that on 09/29 they will release of a special version of their acclaimed new album ÁTTA, available exclusively to members of their Heimr global fan community in partnership with Medallion.

The ÁTTA Heimr Edition is a high quality immersive digital album format available only through the band’s fan community. In addition to the standard Heimr Edition, there is a collectible ÁTTA Unique Heimr Edition available that includes a 1 of 1 digital artwork, limited to 100 editions. This special release is an exploration of the intersection of art and technology. Each 1 of 1 album cover was built using only a text prompt; a unique generative artwork experiment, drawing inspiration without direct influence. Both versions are available this Friday.

The Heimr community is an inclusive and free digital experience for Sigur Rós fans globally. Members are the first to receive upcoming announcements, access to exclusive music format releases, and community benefits such as being able to engage in conversation surrounding the band’s music that makes the Sigur Rós fanbase special.
