Austin, TX jangle pop up-and-comers, Touch Girl Apple Blossom, have joined with Summer Shade to release a 7″ of their debut self-titled EP. Originally surfacing last year, the four-songs are now available physically for the first time ever.

Touch Girl Apple Blossom craft songs that hit you directly in the most tender part of your heart. The band excel at the kind of nostalgic guitar pop that feels lived-in and intimate, immediately recalling the saccharine bliss of groups like Heavenly, Tiger Trap, and Velocity Girl. To celebrate the EP’s release, Touch Girl Apple Blossom have also shared the music video for standout track “Sidewalk.”

Guitarists Olivia Garner and John Morales met playing in a country band and bonded over a shared love of twee music. The two were soon joined by bassist Dustin Pilkington and drummer Charles Powell, and Touch Girl Apple Blossom began writing and playing shows around Austin. Recorded with Max Deems on an 8-track recorder, Touch Girl Apple Blossom packs a tremendous amount of hooks and heart into 13 minutes of wistful perfect pop.

The band will be celebrating the 7″ with a February 7th record release show in Austin, followed by a run of shows supporting Hotline TNT in April.
