Sabri debuts video for "Oh Honey"
Sabri

Sabri, means patience in Arabic, is the solo project and first name of New York artist Sam Sundos. This project, described by Sundos, is a celebration of the crossing of genre and medium – incorporating both visual and performance art in the vein of the Downtown ‘81 era New York scene. ‘Oh Honey’ highlights the foundation of what the project stands for: an embrace of modern culture and technology while maintaining the craft of evergreen songwriting and artistic expression as its driving force. Sundos collaborated with friend & LA producer Andrew Miller (Kristin Kontrol), creating and completing “Oh Honey” at their respective home studios, sharing files and edits via email. According to Sundos, “It’s a project from a big, brown man accepting his past, acknowledging the present and remaining hopeful for the future.” The video was shot by Sundos’ buddy Ben Ryner on an old wind-up motion film camera.
