Royel Otis are back with new single “car” The track follows the recent announcement of the Australian duo’s new album hickey, dropping August 22nd via OURNESS/Capitol/Island Records. Cowritten by Royel Otis (Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic) with writer/producers Blake Slatkin (Gracie Abrams, Omar Apollo) and Omer Fedi (Lil Nas X)

Royel Otis recently performed “car” at The Governors Ball after teasing the song at pop-up shows in Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto (where they also played to the legions of fans outside who didn’t make it in), the band performed a full acoustic performance of “car” live at L.A.’s landmark Red Lion Tavern.

In other news, Royel Otis also recently announced their upcoming meet me in the car tour which will find them headlining cities across North America in Aug & Sept with support from DANCER and bby. The pair have already sold out major cities such as Austin, TX and New York City.
