Rolo Tomassi release “To Resist Forgetting (Live)”
Rolo Tomassi have shared a second single and video, “To Resist Forgetting (Live),” the track is off the band’s upcoming live album. Live at Electric Ballroom. The track follows “Aftermath (Live)” (originally released on 2018’s Time Will Die and Love Will Bury It) last month.
Vocalist/keyboardist James Spence says, “This song has been a mainstay of the set since the release of Where Myth Becomes Memory and always gets a great response. For us, it’s a concise view into how our band sounds in 2024 and is full of fantastic energy that we love putting back into the performance whenever we have the chance to play live.”
Live at Electric Ballroom will be released on September 27, 2024, via MNRK Heavy. The 15-track project was recorded from a headlining show on February 15, 2023, at London’s Electric Ballroom. The set features Rolo Tomassi favorites from their catalog.
Rolo Tomassi have spent 19 years leading the pack rather than following, and on their recent album, Where Myth Becomes Memory, they’ve led with more poise and determination than ever before. The album served as the final part in an unintended trilogy that began with 2015’s Grievances and continued with 2018’s Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It.
