This week saw, Dermot Kennedy releases his new single “Outnumbered.” With the arrival of the track, Kennedy revealed the release date for his debut album Without Fear, the LP is due out on September 27th. The Irish singer/songwriter will be touring behind the album and single, starting October 11th, in St Paul, MN.

“Outnumbered is an attempt to comfort anybody who is feeling overwhelmed. A reminder that beauty can be found no matter how dark the night may seem. I hope it can be a source of reassurance to anyone going through hard times. To know that things will get better and that hard times will become a thing of the past.”

The single comes in the wake of a career highlight with his explosive performance at this year’s Coachella Music Festival and recent run of sold out shows in North America and Europe. In conjunction with the new single and official album announcement, Dermot unveils new dates for his rapidly approaching tour – kicking off in St. Paul, MN on October 11th and will trek through cities including Chicago, Brooklyn, Boston, Cleveland and more through end of October.

Dermot recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for his debut US TV performance, quickly followed by an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, wowing both crowds with a performance of his single “Power Over Me”.
