“Mystery Girl” by Alexandra Savior

“Who’s the Mystery Girl?”

Newcomer Alexandra Savior has released a new song entitled ‘Mystery Girl’ along with a video and the announcement of her forthcoming debut album, entitled ‘Beladonna of Sadness’. ‘Mystery Girl’ is a slice of cinematic desert blues which sees Savior’s crooning bluesy voice accentuated by a throbbing beat.

‘Mystery Girl’ is accompanied by a suitably psychedelic music video directed by Sam Kristofski and finds Savior in full on desert pop noir. The song; like the rest of her debut album, is co-written by Alex Turner from Arctic Monkeys and The Last Shadow Puppets. The two were introduced to one another and began working on songs that would then end up becoming ‘Belladonna of Sadness’. Savior also co-wrote the stand out track from this years sophomore album from The Last Shadow Puppets entitled ‘Miracle Aligner’.

‘Belladonna of Sadness’ is released April 7th 2017 via Columbia Records and is co- written with Alex Turner, as well as produced by both Turner and his frequent collaborator James Ford.

Alexandra Savior has also announced a string of dates over the coming months, including a stop in her native Portland.
