Pardoner have shared “My Wagon,” the second single off their forthcoming LP Peace Loving People, available June 23rd via Bar/None Records. It’s “sort of a warm, fuzzy lament for a lost future, meant to be simultaneously hopeful and full of dread” explains co-vocalist Trey Flanigan. The track follows lead-track “Are You Free Tonight?.”

The band have announced a hometown San Francisco release show at Great American Music Hall on July 23rd. Last Fall the group supported Momma on a West Coast run.

Band members Max Freeland (guitar/vox), Trey Flanigan (guitar/vox), River Van Den Berghe (drums) and Colin Burns (bass) are living quite a distance apart, with Max living in Vancouver BC, a 15-hour drive away. This has not stopped the band from writing recording their Peace Loving People, to be released with the bands label Bar/None Records this summer. Trey and Max, having written Pardoner’s prior LP while a great distance apart from one another as well (The Bar/None released 2021 ripper Came Down Different), reckoned the distance was manageable and again wrote their contributions from afar. Trading demos back and forth for the better part of two years, the band had a more relaxed approach to the writing process this time around, and after extensively demoing the material as a full band, set out to record it with longtime friend of the band and trusted engineer, Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Gouge Away) at Atomic Garden Studio in Oakland, CA.
