Marching Church release new single
Marching Church, the Danish collaborative formed by Iceage lead singer Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, will release their sophomore album, Telling It Like It Is, on October 28th via Sacred Bones. What, Initially begun as a onetime solo project, Marching Church has developed into a full band, comprised of Bender Rønnenfelt joined by Iceage bandmate Johan S. Weith (electric viola, guitar), Lower’s rhythm section of Kristian Emdal (bass) and Anton Rothstein (drums), Jakob Emil Lamdahl (trumpet) and Hand of Dust’s Bo Høyer Hansen (guitar).
After the release of the single, “Heart of Life,” the band has shared “Lion’s Den.” Bender Rønnenfelt confidently presents his vocal range like never before. Together these songs further prove Telling It Like It Is is Marching Church at its most focused and committed — thematically unified and cohesive song arrangements.
