Luke Top (Fool’s Gold) will be releasing his new EP, The Dumb-Show via Grand Gallop and Org Music on October 19th.The album Features guest musicians Kyle Crane (Daniel Lanois/Neko Case) and Seth Ford-Young (Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros), his new EP showcases Top’s unique, bold and quirky songwriting style.

This EP is the closest I’ve come to arriving at some sense of personal truth. I tried to create it without too much judgement or some specific economic goal. Which is possibly an oversight on my part! Ideally, I hope the songs will be a way for others to find escape and catharsis, as they did for me. I’ve also been lucky enough to work through all of this in my own studio space, which has provided lots of headroom for experimentation both in songwriting and production. The EP represents a huge lifestyle shift from spending the previous few years looking for answers on the road to figuring out how to become more grounded in a turbulent world.
