Lower Dens guest on ‘Records In My Life’

Baltimore band Lower Dens guest on an ‘Records In My Life’. We caught up with the guys, right before they were hitting the stage, before their gig with Unknown Mortal Orchestra. They talked to us about some of the more influential albums, that have had an impact on their music. Including titles by Arthur Russell, Stevie Wonder, and Curtis Mayfield.

Lower Dens’ latest release Escape from Evil was produced by Jana Hunter and co-produced and mixed by Chris Coady (Beach House, Cass McCombs). Other production elements came from Ariel Rechtshaid (Haim, Vampire Weekend, Cass McCombs) and Lower Dens’ Walker Teret. Additional recording and production was done in Dallas, TX with John Congleton (St. Vincent, The Walkmen).
