“Local Roses” by Dear Boy
The single follows up the Los Angeles-based band’s debut EP, which was tracked by Chad Bamford (Spiritualized) and mixed by Michael Patterson (Trent Reznor, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) and the single “Hesitation Waltz” which was released earlier this year. “Hesitation Waltz” was recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood and produced by Doug Boehm (Girls) & mixed by Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Wire, Merchandise). Dear Boy recently reunited with producer Doug Boehm to work on “Local Roses” and their forthcoming EP.
Over the past two years Dear Boy has toured with Cloud Nothings, The Airborne Toxic Event, The Maccabees, Peter Murphy, Black English, INVSN, The Dears and Night Terrors of 1927.
