Sam Burchfield has dropped new single “Leave the Light On,” the track is now out via on Cloverdale Records (Evan Honer). Says Burchfield, “I remember writing this one on the road. I think it poured out from an honest desire to live in the flow of meaning, and it was a hopeful cry for help. Don’t give up on me, don’t give up on you, don’t give up on us.” The song is the first taste of the singer/songwriter’s forthcoming album, due out in 2026.

Today’s single follows Burchfield’s recent collaboration with Tophouse, as well as a slew of tour dates, including support for The Strumbellas and Evan Honer. The run continues with headlines, festivals, and support for Wilderado and Max McNown.

Burchfield’s previous album Nature Speaks was recorded at Studio 1093 in Athens, Georgia with co-producers Ryan Plumley and Jason Kingsland (Delta Spirit, Deerhunter).
