Joanna Newsom’s ambitious new dual LP (and CD And CS) was finally released to the world last Friday via Drag City Records. Finally, after two long weeks of knowing a new Joanna Newsom video existed that was, for many, just out of reach, the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed video for the song, “Divers,” is available for all. Once exclusively found within the dark confines of movie theaters across the USA and Europe, homebodies the world over can now repeatedly enjoy the spectacle provided by Joanna and PTA’s collaborative efforts (within the confines of Divers’ cover artist Kim Keever’s studio, no less). Next up, North American, European, (and now) Australian tour dates are in, including shows featuring Alasdair Roberts, Alela Diane and Ryan Francesconi. Look below to see the video for “Divers”.
