Jessie Ware releases new single “Overtime”
English singer/songwriter Jessie Ware today unveils her brand-new song “Overtime.” Produced by Andy Ferguson & Matt Mcbriar of Bicep & James Ford, the track is available via PMR Records / Friends Keep Secrets / Interscope Records. The single is Jessie’s first release in a year and the follow up to her third album, GLASSHOUSE in 2017.
Jessie Ware talks about her new single “Overtime”:
‘Overtime’ is a taste of what’s to come. It’s been really fun being back in the studio and I’m so excited to share this track. I worked on it with some of my favourite producers; James Ford & the guys of Bicep. It feels like I’m going back to my early days; it’s a late-night song to flirt too. Whilst I carry on working on new music, I hope you really enjoy this one.”
The past year has seen Jessie reinforce her status as one of the UK’s most influential artists with incredible live performances including a four-night residency at London’s Islington Assembly Hall followed by 2 sell-out nights at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith, a headlining US tour alongside a 17-date tour that covered nine countries. Her Table Manners podcast has also seen the south Londoner nominated at this year’s Audio Radio Industry Awards (ARIAS) for ‘Best Podcast’ & ‘Best New Presenter.’ Guests have included Ed Sheeran, Yotam Ottolenghi, Sam Smith and The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.
