Brooklyn-based band hunter & wolfe, drop their new LP entitled I deserve this. on August 4. the track follows previous releases “Last Time” and “Famous Friends.” The duo grab their inspiration from Elliot Smith, St. Vincent and many more from the world of indie rock.

Today, hunter & wolfe share the third cut from I deserve this “When I Wake Up,” alongside an accompanying lyric video and live acoustic performance video.

On the track, Maffei wrote: “When we wrote this record, I was waking up at all hours and struggling to get back to sleep. This song is about the listless feeling that kept me up at night and the difficulty I had shaking it.”
